Sustainable Development Goals

Forests and trees play a vital role in sustainable development. Our actions align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015.

  • SDG 7: Wooday offers a sustainable and efficient alternative to fossil fuels through wood energy.
  • SDG 12: Everwood ensures sustainable and responsible forest management. Wooday repurposes wood residues into energy products.
  • SDG 13: Everwood guarantees responsible management of existing forests, contributing to carbon storage and ecosystem preservation.
  • SDG 15: Everwood promotes sustainable forest management and biodiversity preservation by adopting environmentally respectful silvicultural practices.
We ensure sustainable forest management to preserve the balance of nature today and for future generations.

For several years, growing environmental challenges have highlighted the urgency of collective action in the face of major impacts on ecosystems and communities around the world.

At Everwood, we believe that our role goes beyond forest management. We aim to create more environmental value than we consume.

Through innovation and collaboration, particularly via our subsidiaries Forestry, Neosylva, and Wooday, we challenge traditional practices and pave the way toward a more sustainable future. Everwood is committed to keeping forests vibrant and resilient for generations to come.

This is just the beginning, but we are determined to do everything possible to support the ecological transition.

Sustainable Commitment

Everwood offers sustainable expertise that combines responsible forest management with respect for natural resources. By repurposing under-managed plots and integrating environmental services such as carbon capture, we actively contribute to the ecological transition.

Our approach aims to preserve biodiversity and ecosystems while enhancing the cultural and environmental ties unique to each region. By supporting local know-how and fostering social dynamics in the territories, we root our actions in a sustainable vision that respects future generations.

We protect nature by supporting its vital role for current and future generations.

Neutrality

Everwood has chosen to go a step further by also investing in collective initiatives.

The first edition of the Neutrality Conference was launched in 2021. This annual event brings together business leaders and project developers from the forestry, wood, and agricultural sectors who are committed to fighting climate change.

The goal of Neutrality is to foster the emergence of decarbonization solutions, particularly through carbon sequestration, while encouraging concrete action.

We put people at the heart of our mission.

Social justice is a concrete commitment to equality and dignity for all. To achieve this, it is essential to place people at the center of our approach.

At Everwood, we foster a human-centered culture based on trust and responsibility, where everyone can thrive and contribute. We firmly believe that it is through collective effort and the commitment of our teams and partners that we will achieve our goals.

Promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion

At Everwood, we believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to evolve and grow in a historically male-dominated sector.

Our goal is to help create an environment where diversity—in all its forms—is not only respected but also valued and integrated into our everyday practices.

Promoting health, safety, and well-being

At Everwood, we recognize that supporting our employees is fundamental to their fulfillment and to the achievement of our strategic objectives.
We are committed to fostering flexible and supportive working environments that promote a healthy work-life balance, notably through the implementation of a hybrid remote work model.

Our offices, located in the heart of Paris, offer optimal working conditions. Within this setting, we also cultivate a dynamic and inclusive workplace culture by organizing regular team-building and social initiatives.

Employee well-being is also supported through professional development. Continuous learning is a core pillar of our human resources strategy, providing regular opportunities for skills enhancement and career progression.

Everwood works every day to preserve forests and promote a sustainable model for all.

At Everwood, we firmly believe that sustainable forest management is a collective responsibility — one that is essential to preserving our environment and fostering the development of local territories. We are committed to actively contributing to the transition toward a model that respects natural ecosystems and the communities that depend on them.

It is with this vision in mind that we have chosen to publish a sustainability report. This document reflects our commitment to acting transparently and proactively by sharing the initiatives we have undertaken, the results achieved, and the challenges that remain. Far more than a simple assessment, it serves as a tool for dialogue with our stakeholders and a catalyst for pursuing even more ambitious actions in the years to come.

We are fully aware that this report represents only a first step. It is part of a continuous improvement approach, through which we strive each year to better understand and reduce our environmental impacts, while strengthening our role as a responsible partner within the forest and wood sector. Thank you for your interest in our approach.
