What are the forestry and wood industry documentaries?

Much of the forestry and wood industry promotion in France comes from the production of documentaries, reports, and institutional videos.

Today, perhaps more than ever, the forest is at the heart of several major societal issues. However, without sufficient knowledge of the forest resources, its history and the men and women who work to develop it, the debate risks being detached from reality.

Many themes have been covered on camera, but from a biased (or even radical) angle and point of view.

This project is produced and directed by ecpfilms.

Season 2 in production on the theme of forests and society

Jun Cordon and Jean-Guénolé Cornet wanted to continue this reflection with a second season on the theme “Forest and Society.” It will be composed of nine episodes of 8 to 13 minutes each and will present concrete examples to illustrate this central subject, deepen one’s reflection and open the way to new possibilities.

Once again, the aim is to enable the widest possible audience to gain a better understanding of a sector that is at the heart of major societal issues, such as the production of renewable materials, the fight against climate change and the conservation of biodiversity, through innovations, research work and the daily actions carried out by the sector’s players.

In order to guarantee the coherence of the contents in relation to the theme, a viewing committee will be involved before the release: Arnaud Guyon, Director of the Conseil Régional de la Propriété Forestière Pays de la Loire et Bretagne, Nicolas Visier, Director of Atlanbois in Nantes and Jean Guénolé Cornet, President of Néosylva.
